Mexico’s Foreign Trade Policy by Secretary of Economy Ildefonso Guajardo

Mexican Economy Minister Ildefonso Guajardo met with representatives from swiss companies to discuss Mexico’s current trade policy. The discussion was centered around the eight round of NAFTA talks; the EU-Mexico Agreement in principle and the modernization of the free trade agreement between Mexico and EFTA States: Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. Minister Guajardo explained that Mexico has the will to modernize the free trade agreement that dates back to 2001 in order to increase swiss investment in Mexico and strengthen bilateral trade.
