SwissCham Mexico together with Nestlé shared the importance of Dual Training as a channel for young people’s insertion into the formal labor market at the breakfast organized by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) with the aim of continuing to promote new alliances.
Emilia Pfeiffer, Director General of SwissCham Mexico, gave a presentation on the Chamber’s activities and then commented on the impetus that SwissCham promotes dual training. She also pointed out the benefits of the model for both companies and young people as an essential tool for future employment. On behalf of Nestlé, Luis Flores shared the experience of the implementation of the Dual Training Model in recent years.
Afterwards, an exchange of dialogue was generated regarding the promotion of initiatives in the south-southeast, as well as inclusion programs and new technologies for young people by other IDB allied actors and institutions.
Finally, a networking session was held to explore new opportunities to generate alliances and strengthen relationships with institutions with expertise in education, dual training, tools and new technologies, among others.
