The ESG and Sustainability Prpgram is the result of a joint collaboration between the Swiss-Mexican Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SwissCham Mexico), the Swiss Embassy in Mexico and leading Swiss institutions dedicated to sustainability.

Its objective is to share international best practices and valuable information to improve current practices and increase mutual learning related to environmental, social and governance initiatives among Swiss business executives, officials from different sectors and strategic counterparts.

The ESG diploma course consisted of 6 sessions held between October and December, taught by representatives of Swiss institutions and companies with expertise in the field, with more than 60 participants from the public and private sectors who received their certificate in the last session.

The closing ceremony took place at the Ambassador’s residence and included welcoming remarks by the President of SwissCham Mexico, Simon Blondin, as well as the Ambassador of Switzerland in Mexico, Pietro Piffaretti. We are also grateful for the presence of representatives of Swiss companies, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE), the International Labor Organization (ILO), and the Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources (SEMARNAT).

We extend our congratulations to the participants who successfully completed the program and hope that they will be able to join us in future editions.
