SwissCham Mexico and the Embassy of Switzerland in Mexico extended a cordial invitation to the Coordinators of the Chamber’s Working Groups to present the work agendas and define areas of collaboration for 2023, as well as to align cross-cutting themes.
The Lunch with Coordinators was held at the Club de Industriales in Mexico City. Simon Blondin, President of SwissCham Mexico, gave a welcoming speech in which he reaffirmed the Chamber’s commitment and support for the Committees’ activities and thanked the coordinators for their participation.
Subsequently, Emilia Pfeiffer, Director General of SwissCham, presented the working agenda of the session, as well as the Chamber’s activities and events to be carried out in 2023. The Coordinators provided an overview of each of their Working Groups and presented the upcoming meeting dates and topics for the subsequent sessions.
On behalf of the Embassy of Switzerland, Yves Reymond, Deputy Head of Mission, and Maïa Inzaurralde, Attaché for Economic Affairs, offered a few words and requested the support of the representatives of Swiss companies to generate a positive work agenda based on 4 pillars: 1) Human Capital, 2) Supply Chains, 3) Agenda 2030 and 4) Digital Transformation.
Finally, an exchange of ideas was generated and it was agreed to generate working sessions to explore potential actions to be carried out in order to strengthen the positive agenda by the coordinators, as well as representatives of the Swiss companies.
